Frazer is a highly skilled and intuitive audiologist. As someone who is autistic and sensitive to sound, I need my hearing aids to be about more than just correcting hearing loss — they also have to feel comfortable for my nervous system. If my hearing aids had been programmed in the standard way, the sound would have been far too loud and harsh for me. Frazer truly listened to and understood my needs. He carefully programmed my hearing aids to accommodate my sound sensitivities, while still giving me clear, high-quality hearing. I’m so grateful for his understanding and expertise, and so glad to have found him and Almond Hearing. Mum has been a patient of Frazer for several years now and I cannot rate the level of professionalism, expertise and standard of care provided, highly enough. The Phonak hearing aids purchased along with custom made shells far exceed those supplied on the NHS and have made an incredible difference to Mum’s hearing and quality of life. That combined with regular micro suction wax removal ensures her hearing remains the best it can possibly be for her severe hearing loss. The Expertise and knowledge is second to none. By far the best team of Hearing Care professionals bar none. But, it’s not just this. The whole service including aftercare, which is imperative, is Awesome. If you need help then these are people for you. I’ve been using them for many many years now. 10/10 from start .... it never finishes but a 10 anyway. From a cost perspective as well, you get the best overall value for money. New premises on the Crichton site are well-equipped and attractive with no parking difficulties. However, I was unaware that they had moved premises and was therefore a little late for my appointment. I did suggest to Leanne that it might be a good Idea to add a brief note to text messages when reminding patients of their appointment that they had moved premises. Efficient and effective service from Iain over the past couple of years to remove wax in ears every 6 months. Excellent and thank you again. ~ John H

Fraser and Ian helped my Mum (in her 90s) tremendously, we thought she needed a hearing aid but in fact wax removal solved the problem and has made a huge difference to her quality of life. It turned out that more than one visit was necessary to remove it all but there was no additional charge and no attempts to sell hearing aids (or even a hearing test) - I am not sure we'd have had the same outcome if we'd gone to a High Street chain. Very happy indeed. Thanks too to the office staff who are very friendly and extremely helpful. ~ Keith M

For my wife and I to be seen by Frazer involves a 120 mile round trip, there is a very good reason for this, we know with certainty when we leave the premises our hearing will be the best it possibly can be, thorough, meticulous ever the professional Frazer will not rest until 100% perfection has been achieved, life changing for me, I can hear birds (which have eluded me for many years), television, just everything is so much easier now. ~ Robert B

Treatments like this can be really nerve-wracking or sometimes just awkward but the gent at Castle really put him at ease and the time passed quickly with no issues at all.
